I am incredibly proud to lead such a caring, inclusive and ambitious school community. Marshside is a special place where children are known as individuals, families are valued as partners and staff are committed to helping every child thrive.

We are a school with high aspirations for every child regardless of their starting point or individual needs. We believe that all children deserve the opportunity to succeed academically, socially and emotionally. We work tirelessly to remove barriers so that every child can flourish.

We are proud of our close connection to the local environment and the nearby RSPB Marshside Nature Reserve. Our classes are named after birds found within the reserve, reflecting our commitment to fostering curiosity, environmental awareness and a sense of belonging within our local community. This unique aspect of Marshside helps children build a strong connection with the natural world and the special place in which they learn and grow.

Strong partnerships with parents and carers are central to our success. Education is most powerful when home and school work together and I am committed to maintaining open, honest and supportive relationships with all of our families.
